About us

The Inside Africa project is an initiative by UK based charity organization Out of Afrika (OOA) and Tim Metz. Our goal is to create an online place where (young) people can see Africa in a way that they wont see it on television, newspapers and other media. We will show both the beauty and the problems, focussing on people and their stories, from the rich to the poor.

This project is not a leaflet or advertisement for OOA. Our main goal is to give an interesting view into daily life in an African country, the second goal is to raise awareness for OOA and collect extra donations and sponsorship for children.

OOA works on grassroot level, empowering children and disadvantaged women to take control of their own lives by providing them with (IT) education, teaching them how to grow their own food, help them setting up their own businesses, etc. For more extensive information on OOA, please visit www.outofafrika.org.
